International Update: ICEJ participates in Fiji Launch of Israel Allies Caucus in the Fiji Parliament
This week, the ICEJ took part in the official launch of an Israel Allies Caucus in the parliament of Fiji.
Prime Minister Rabuka (center) and Deputy Prime Minister Viliame Gavoka (right) presided over the signing agreement of the Israel Allies Caucus together with Josh Reinstein (left) of the Israel Allies Foundation and ICEJ Senior Vice President and Spokesman David Parsons.
ICEJ-Fiji also hosted a diplomatic banquet to celebrate the opening of the pro-Israel caucus in parliament and the Fiji embassy in Jerusalem. Deputy Prime Minister Viliame Gavoka gave his keynote address from the prestigious grand Pacific Hotel in Suva, Fiji, sharing the stage with speeches from the new Israeli Ambassador to Fiji Maya Yaron, and Australian MP Andrew Wallace.
ICEJ Senior Vice President and Spokesman David Parsons also commended Fiji’s, “wisdom and discernment in a time of moral confusion and compromise among so many other world leaders concerning Israel” and resolutely affirmed, “The Lord is building Zion and Fiji is rightly aligning with His redemptive purposes in restoring Jerusalem and the Land of Israel to the Jewish people.”
