The return of the Jewish people was set in motion on this momentous day of October 31, 1917, and the amazing victories that the Jewish people have attained since. This painting is a reminder of God’s Faithful Hand over His people and His Land and the miraculous Victory at Beersheba. This last great cavalry charge in world history was led by Australians including our Aboriginal people that paved the way for the nation of Israel.
The Artist Ps. Tim Hall’s great uncle, Major General George James Rankin (DSO and Bar), was second in command of those 800 men that broke through the buttress of the Ottoman Empire and released the Land of Israel to await its rightful inhabitants.
All proceeds will go towards Aliyah – to assist Jews experiencing war, famine or antisemitism to return to the their ancestral homeland. Funds from sales will also go towards Bomb Shelters for the vulnerable communities along Israel’s northern borders.
