“He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” Psalm 91:4
Last month we sent a special appeal to your inboxes about the incredible centre at Shilo that helps Israeli children recover from war and terrorism trauma through horseback therapy. The area in which therapeutic riding is conducted needs a large shade cover to ensure its use through the hot summers.
With great sadness we say that when we launched this appeal, we did not know how vital this project will be after the war is over. Children are dealing with the terror of war and unthinkable atrocities they’d only heard about from Holocaust Survivors. Shilo Therapy Centre will be waiting to offer healing to traumatised young people and children through their gentle horses.
Already there has been overwhelming response, and we say a huge thank you and praise God for such encouragement from our Aussie supporters. Australians and horses once played an historic and prophetic role in Israel’s history, and we want to enable another form of rescue by horseback – the rescue of damaged hearts and minds. Please give so that we can complete this project.

ICEJ is on the frontlines of this battle on your behalf by reaching out with emergency assistance across the nation, and especially to the shattered residents of the Israeli border communities.
We are calling for all of us to be people of action in this crisis, in these three ways:
PRAY for Israel.
STAND up for Israel in Australia.
GIVE now to help us with the emergency relief and evacuation efforts.
We are currently bringing urgent relief aid in the following areas:
Assisting evacuated Israeli families with basic provisions.
Joining urgent food distribution efforts.
Providing bullet-proof vests & helmets to volunteers in first-responder teams.
Ordering more portable bomb shelters for vulnerable towns.
Donating ambulances and other emergency medical equipment.
Donating shelters & other outdoor equipment for those defending the country.
Funding trauma therapies for Israeli families.
With your help we can have a real impact in bringing medical relief and aid to Israeli troops and civilians.
