Power In Prayer
The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective - James 5:16
Never underestimate the power of prayer. As reported in the latest edition of the Word from Jerusalem magazine, an estimated 25,000 Christians from over 170 nations around the globe regularly take part in the daily prayer gatherings. The widespread use of internet technology has enabled intercessors to join together each night since October 7 and we are witnessing the results.
When Hezbollah threatened retaliation after the assassination of two of the top terrorists leaders, Israelis went on full alert. Hezbollah made vitriolic threats to civilian targets across Israel, as thousands of rockets pointed to Israel’s northern border caused fear and trepidation.
In His mercy God answered the prayers of His people and a major attack was thwarted. Just five minutes before the proposed attack, Israel sent over 100 planes to hit very specific target and nullify the threat, for now. At the same time a number of terror tunnels were destroyed by an earthquake. Let’s all keep up the prayers. They are more effective than we imagine.
