The Long Road Home For Remaining Hostages
At the very start of this year’s Feast of Tabernacles, as the full moon rose over the desert oasis at Kfar HaNokdim, we already declared from the stage in faith that we would see the last group of living Israeli hostages arrive safely home before the end of Sukkot. Expectations continued to rise all week as we continued to celebrate, pray in faith and give thanks for all God had done throughout the war thus far.
Within a few short days, US President Donald Trump was jetting to Israel to address the Knesset, where he affirmed Israel’s victory in the two-year war and assured the Jewish nation that the last living captives in Gaza were all coming home that very day. Indeed, they were all freed by sunset on Monday just as the week of Sukkot ended and the holiday of Simchat Torah began – exactly two years on the Hebrew calendar since the horrific terror invasion of October 7, 2023.
This year brought more than 2,000 Christians together into the city of Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast, along with over 1,200 people from 58 nations joining the celebration online!

Rebuilding The Kibbutz Be'eri Children's Centre
For the 1200-plus residents of Be’eri, it was devastating. Over 120 houses were destroyed, 132 members were killed or kidnapped, including 51 elderly residents, some of whom are still not released. Most homes were destroyed by fire, and the others were pillaged and robbed. Thirteen public buildings were destroyed and desecrated. One was a key building that was part of the Children’s Education Centre.
On October 7, terrorists took over the Children’s Centre – it was a strategic act. They knew it included the heaviest fortified missile protected buildings in the centre of the community. One of the most heroic battles took place between the medical centre and the kindergarten, lasting for 7 hours.
