WE WEEP WITH THOSE WHO WEEP
REMEMBERING OCTOBER 7 ONE YEAR ONE
“The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” - Lamentations 3:34
On Monday we will mourn hundreds of mothers and fathers, children and babies, and young people who were brutally tortured and murdered on the last day of Sukkot, a day that should have been one of rejoicing.
We will honour the bravery of those who stood against the savagery as rescuers and defenders. We will pray for those still held hostage by their cruel terrorist captors. We encourage as many of you as possible to join the numerous ICEJ supporters that will attend memorials across the country together with hurting Jewish communities.
ONE YEAR AFTER OCTOBER 7TH
Watch this special edition of our webinar which engages in discussion around the year that has been since October 7, 2023. Hosted by ICEJ Senior Vice President & Spokesman David Parsons, with special guest –
IDF Maj (Res) Elliot Chodoff.
Topic: One Year After October 7.
With thanks to the LORD and our wonderful supporters, we are absolutely delighted to announce that the Australian Branch smashed our fundraising goal for the Sha’ar HaNegev Resilience Centre Project!
We were informed about the urgent need of protective rooms to be used for trauma treatment for both children and adults. It took a big step of faith to undertake providing for one of those rooms, but with your generosity and God’s leading we did it!
As the traumatised children begin to return to southern communities for the start of the school year, they will have psychological therapy support close to the school. The 15 sqm ‘Australian Room’ will be part of a facility that is being repurposed and missile protected and will be such a blessing for little ones who have endured so much in their young lives.
We raised in excess of $141,000 needed to build this very large missile sheltered room in the kibbutz community that was devastated by October 7 and look forward to sending you further updates.
OCTOBER ISAIAH 62 PRAYER POINTS
Each month, we make it easy for you to keep Israel in your prayers with our Isaiah 62 Prayer Initiative. Like Watchman on the walls of Jerusalem, the people of God are to stand watch on behalf of Israel. This essentially means embracing regular prayer and intercession for Israel, for blessing, for protection against those that seek to harm her and for her redemption. Download our Isaiah 62 Prayer Points for October below and join us in upholding the nation of Israel!

You can host a watch party in your own home or church, and help you better understand and testify to what this nation has been through over the past year. – ICEJ President Dr Juergen Buhler.

NEVER AGAIN IS NOW - OCT 7TH RALLY
We know that the history and politics of the Middle East is complicated and contested. However, we firmly believe that there is never an excuse for antisemitism. We believe Australians must stand together in solidarity with our Jewish friends and neighbours. We will sing. We will pray. We will push back the darkness and the hatred.
The event will occur over 2 hours in a large iconic central Canberra
location. The exact location will be announced closer to the event (for security). The AFP Police and security are involved to facilitate
community safety on the day.
Following on from the NAIN October 7th event, we urge as many as possible to come together at an interfaith gathering to symbolically replace the hatred that filled the Opera House steps on Oct 9th 2023, with love for, and in solidarity with, Israel and our Jewish community.
Kingdom Festival 2024 is an annual event on the Gold Coast that celebrates the Feast of Tabernacles from October 16th to 20th. Special guest speaker
Kelvin Crombie from Heritage Resources will be lead the teaching on
Covenants, complemented by dynamic worship sessions and fun activities.
