They need stability, for their children to return to school, for work to recommence and life to return to some sort of normality. The resilient and determined families of Kibbutz Be’eri and neighbouring villages are inspiring even greater commitment for us to partner with them in the rebuilding.

This year, commemorations will be held at the Auschwitz concentration and extermination camp to mark the 80th anniversary of its liberation. The event will be attended by world leaders. Auschwitz is a symbol of the Holocaust and the atrocities of World War II for most of the world.
As we face this new year, we are reminded that God continually calls us to action similar to the way the Biblical people of Israel were called to action when the ram’s horn, the shofar, sounded. The shofar was sounded for many different reasons and each time, it commanded the people’s attention.
