In the vibrant mix of Israeli society, its Arab citizens are a unique and often overlooked segment of the population. From bustling cities to quiet villages, Israel’s Arabs are not merely residents, but an integral part of the nation’s cultural, economic and social fabric, making up some 20% of the Israeli people.
Behind every door is a story unfolding. Many women arrive guarded and fearful, carrying deep emotional wounds. But through consistent care in an atmosphere of warmth and safety from the dedicated team, they gradually open to building friendships and take courageous steps toward rebuilding their lives.
In a small hospital room in Jerusalem, a young Israeli mother cradles her newborn son. Her eyes are tired, her body weak, but her heart is full. Just a few months earlier, she had been alone, afraid, and moments away from choosing abortion. Today, she is a hopeful woman who chose life in the face of despair.
As the world continues to feel more unstable, and as antisemitism grows louder in the world, our residents’ words are a reminder: this is not just a political crisis, but a deeply personal one for those who have already lived through the darkest chapters of Jewish history.

Many children are still on the waiting list for the different forms of therapy. To meet the demand, additional facilities and therapeutic resources must urgently be developed so services can be offered to double the number of children assisted.

We are so thrilled to announce that Australia has just delivered our first bomb shelter to Israel! It will provide hope, peace of mind, and security to people recovering from traumas of October 7. We also take time to honour Israeli women today, on International Women’s Day.
