The Christian Embassy just achieved a major milestone in our efforts to strengthen the emergency responders’ network in northern Israel, as the fifth and final communications relay system and antenna were successfully installed in the Upper Galilee.

The year 2025 marks 1700 years since the landmark Council of Nicaea in 325 AD, commemorated by many churches around the world. What was so tragic about Nicaea is that it was only the second universal council of the Church. Whereas in Acts 15 the Jewish-led church went beyond their traditions to welcome and embrace Gentile believers, the Gentile church after Nicaea shamelessly rejected the Jews from all church life and began fuelling Christian antisemitism for generations to come.

Israel has borne many insults since Oct 7 as the nations rage and plot vain things (Psalm 2:1) but Israel must continue to do what they can to defend their citizens, bring the hostages home, while bearing their pain and anxiety.
Since its founding, the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) has been committed to supporting Aliyah and planting Jews in their ancestral homeland. This includes supporting two current projects that are transforming the lives of new Israeli immigrants: the Tel Ran Computer Training Program and the Physician Training Program.

According to Church historian Philip Schaff, Nicaea was – next to the Apostolic council in Jerusalem in Acts chapter 15 – “the most important and the most illustrious of all the councils of Christendom.”
Given the UN’s record of anti-Israel bias, there is a real risk the conference will seek a unilateral solution to the conflict, including recognition of a Palestinian state. Notably, French President Macron and the British Foreign Secretary recently signalled that they would pursue this avenue at the conference. This would undermine existing international law, including the Oslo Accords and successive UN Security Council resolutions, which established that peace must be negotiated, not imposed.
On October 7, terrorists took over the Children’s Centre – it was a strategic act. They knew it included the heaviest fortified missile protected buildings in the centre of the community. One of the most heroic battles took place between the medical centre and the kindergarten, lasting for 7 hours.
Last year, the ICEJ assisted 3,653 Jews in their Aliyah and Integration process in Israel, which was 11.3% of the total immigration figures for 2024. That brings our cumulative total to 188,977 Jews assisted with Aliyah since the Christian Embassy’s founding in 1980.
